Draw Bias by Course

Which stalls win at each track — measured from our 11-year settled-results database, not guesswork.

Draw bias is one of the most overlooked edges in racing. At some tracks a low or high stall is worth lengths before the gates open. Below is every course with enough data for a reliable read — click through for win rates by stall and distance.

What is draw bias?

In flat racing horses start from numbered stalls. Depending on a track's shape, the position of the first bend, and the going, certain stalls give a genuine advantage — especially over sprint distances. A "draw bias" means winners come disproportionately from low or high stalls rather than evenly across the field. We measure it the only honest way: counting where winners actually came from, across thousands of races per course.
